I’ve sat where you might be sitting right now.
There was a point in my own life when I knew something wasn't right, I just couldn't name it. I was fulfilling the roles I'd been given, showing up the way I was supposed to, but underneath all of it I felt disconnected from the person I actually wanted to be.
Working with my own counselor changed that. It wasn’t easy, but I did the work, the kind that asks something real of you, and it brought me into alignment with who I am. That experience changed everything.
That experience is why I do this work.
This is a place to be honest.
Most of us are never really given permission to say what's actually going on. We carry it, manage it, push through it, and eventually that catches up with us in our closest relationships, our sense of purpose, and our own sense of self.
Renewal Counseling exists to be something different: a space where you don't have to perform, explain yourself, avoid, suppress, or have it figured out before you walk in. Just a place to start telling your story and someone to help you figure out what to do with it.
You don't need to be in crisis to start. You just need a sense that something could be better.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in helping people navigate relationships, identity, purpose, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a research-backed approach that helps you clarify what you truly value and build a life that reflects it, rather than just managing what's painful. Counseling with me is honest, practical, and forward-moving. You won't just walk away with insight, you'll walk away with something to work with.
